Lautaro Martínez is part of Inter’s future in Serie A. The 23-year-old striker from Argentina has been performing undoubtedly well in his first years in the League scoring lots of goals despite having an incredibly low salary compared to some other stars in the country. Now being already an active player both in his club and in his national team he is looking for better conditions.

It is not new that several clubs are interested in signing him despites a seriously high release clause. Real Madrid and Barcelona art some of the most interesting next to Italian giants Juventus. Negotiations will not be easy but the Nerazzurros trust that Martinez will stay for a long time in the club.

At the beginning of the season, it was reported that his current salary is €2.5 million per year, which would represent around $3.02 million. Despite any common worker would love to be paid that, it is not enough for a soccer star of his caliber. Apart from that, his release clause is allegedly €111 million ($134 million). Former Vélez Sarsfield, Real Madrid, River Plate, Tigres and Monterrey striker Rolando Zárate is Martínez’ agent. He is now about to close a deal with Inter to extend his player’s contract with the club.

The release clause could be mantained in the new conditions, despite including an exclusive figure in case the buyer is Juventus: they would have to pay €150 million ($181 million). The Argentina national team’s striker salary could be now from €5 to €7 million, which would be betweel $6.05 and $8.5 million.
