Kylian Mbappé was a subject of transfer interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer. Real Madrid submitted bids of as much as €200m but it was rejected by PSG with the club claiming they respect financial fair play policy, that's why they rejected the astronomical fee.

Mbappé's current contract expires at the end of the season and will be able to leave for free, meaning he could eventually join his dream club Real Madrid for free and PSG will lose out greatly unless he accepts a new contract which could mean he can't leave the club at the end of the season.

He currently earns €18m at the club and the new contract could double his wages to around €36m if he accepts it. His mother confirmed contract talks are ongoing and that she spoke to club sporting director Leonardo about it last week.

Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco in 2017 and has matured into one of the best young forwards in the world. He has won several trophies with the club excluding the UEFA Champions League. He has also won the FIFA World Cup with France and recently won the UEFA Nations League.
