Kylian Mbappé made history for France with his 32nd minute hat-trick and became the first player in 36 years to score a competitive hat-trick for Les Blues. The PSG attacker added a fourth to make it 8-0 later on.
The win guaranteed France top spot in group D and qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar to defend the title they won in Russia in 2018 when they defeated Croatia 4-2 in the final.
France joins Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Brazil and hosts Qatar as the countries to have qualified for the global mundial.
The hat-trick being France's first in 36 years also means it's his first for Les Blues. France have had all-time greats like Zinedine Zidane, Didier Deschamps, Thierry Henry but all have gone without scoring thrice per game for France.
