Manchester City has lots of dreams in the transfer market. Summer might see them going after no other than Erling Braut Haaland. Not only to secure some scoring as per his amazing displays in RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund: they will desperately need to replace over 250 goals, because Sergio Agüero seems set to leave.

The Argentinian striker has been playing for Manchester City for almost a decade, widely remembered for scoring the goal that secured the 2011/2012 title, but now is under contract until the end of the season. It seems that in a sign of thankfulness, the club will simply ask him what he wants to do and follow his desire, no matter if that means staying or leaving.

Despite the huge dreams of Independiente, his childhood club in Argentina, it’s really difficult to think he can return to Argentina. Even though he recognized he would to it some day, it simply seems to be too early. He hasn’t spoken publicly on what he wants to do at the end of the current season, but versions are flying around.

According to Cadena SER’s journalist Santiago Ovalle, he has explicitly offered himself to one of the three candidates to Barcelona’s president role. He has three positive points to sign: he is a striker, which the club has largely missed after kicking Luis Suárez out. He would arrive with lots of experience on a free transfer, and third, if Lionel Messi stays, he will welcome a good friend.
