Kun Agüero: Guardiola has revealed deteails on the his health and Manchester City is worried

2021 is definitely a very bad year so far for Sergio Agüero. The Argentinian striker is still out of action for Manchester City, after having played for last time on January 3 against Chelsea. That evening he entered the field with just five minutes to go. When he was recovering from an injury, he suffered another blow, as Pep Guardiola reported.

The Spanish coach stated that Agüero was doing well in his knee injury recovery, but unfortunately his health faced struggles again. He got infected with the contagious disease that has been going around the world in the last year. It is the second time he suffers it. After following the medical instructions, he tried to be back.

Guardiola has assured he is not ready to be on the field yet, and he has to go back to training slowly and progressively. Speaking ahead of the FA Cup clash against Welsh rivals Swansea City, he mentioned he only shared about 15 minutes in the training session with the rest of the squad, and he is slowly getting better.

Despite that, the coach stated he does not know when he will be ready to play again. Hopefully, he could make his comeback when Manchester City faces Borussia Monchengladbach in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. The first leg will be played in Germany on February 24, and the second one, on March 16, playing in the Emirates Stadium.
