Up until October 2015, Karim Benzema was the main star player of France national team, and in that month he scored a brace against Armeina and unknowingly, played his last match ever with his country. Because after that, came the accusation of Mathieu Valbuena of being extorted by the Real Madrid striker, and the striker was banned of the national team forever.

The coach of the national team, Didier Deschamps, comitted to never call him again and when he was left out of the squad for Euro 2016, Benzema said something that according to the manager, lead people to vandalise his house, and Deschamps said he will never forget that.

What the striker said at that moment was that the manager obeyed the claims of a racist group that wanted him out for Algerian roots. And Deschamps told RTL that an accusation like that is a stain on his character that affected his name and his family, and cannot forgive Benzema.

The coach who took France to the World Cup win in 2018 without Benzema said that it is different to criticize his choices in the list or his tactics, because an accusation like that leads to aggressions and his family had to bear the consequences. So it crossed a line and he will never, ever forget that.
