This problem means nothing for a normal soccer player, but for Cristiano Ronaldo it is different. He has spent three consecutive Serie A matches without scoring, despite having played the full 90 minutes in all of them. In this period he only managed to make an assist in the 2-0 win versus Bologna.

Yesterday Juventus won 2-0 again, against Sampdoria. But the goal scorers were Federico Chiesa and Aaron Ramsey. After the match, the manager Andrea Pirlo was asked by the drought of CR7. Before, Ronaldo was expected to be the main goalscorer and carry the team on his own, and that is the role he wants. But Pirlo has other plans.

The manager said 'We do not rely on him'. He also said that the players showed a good performance, but they can do better. And added: 'Ronaldo goals are not always important for us'. He does not want anybody to think he is bigger than the club, and wants to set the example with CR7, no more no less.

The Portuguese is still the Serie A top scorer with 15 goals, having Romelu Lukaku, Ciro Immobile and Zlatan Ibrahimovic behind him. But he is not averaging anymore that goal per game he got people used to at Real Madrid and sometimes at Juventus too, and his manager is worried about that.
