Javier Hernández is a lifelong Chivas fan. He made his pro debut in that club and like many top players, he would like to end his career in the same club he started it. So the possibility of leaving Los Angeles Galaxy and coming back to Chivas and Liga MX is surely crossing his mind.

This is not a matter of whether it will happen or not, but when. So the journalist David Medrano put some light on this situation and talked about the chances that the Guadalajara team has to see Chicharito using its shirt soon. But it will probably not happen this year, and there are two reasons for that.

The first reason is that the striker wants to leave a good impression in MLS after his bad 2020, where he played just 12 matches and scored twice. The other reason, Medrano reported, is that he has an expensive contract at Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas will not be able to make a convincing offer, so they might have to wait until 2023, when the Mexican becomes a free agent.

Still, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player and top scorer ever of Mexican national team hopes to play for the Rebaño Sagrado and retire there. In 2023 he will be 35 years old, so he will have enough fuel in him to compete in Liga MX for one or two seasons.
