During the next weeks, Mesut Ozil will define where he will be playing in the future. The German playmaker is still at Arsenal, even though he hasn’t been playing for the Premier League side since March 7, when the Gunners faced West Ham. Since then, Mikel Arteta axe him and didn’t use him anymore.

Ozil has a contract remaining until June 2021 but as he earns $350.000 a week at Arsenal, he decided to stay even though he is not playing. But now the panorama has to change as he could be negotiating to leave as a free agent since January 2021 and there are many clubs interested on him.

One of those that has already made an offer, according to Daily Mail, is DC United. The MLS side has offered the German great conditions to sign, even though not a contract as high as the one he has in his actual club. At the U.S. league, he could win up to $6 million per season, something like what Chicharito Hernández or Carlos Vela gain.

Ozil has a reported value of $10 million, but at the age of 32 he will be leaving for free. During his professional career he played for Westfalia, T. Schalke, Falke, RW Essen, Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, Real Madrid and finally Arsenal. There are other clubs interested in him, as teams from Italy, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
