Lionel Messi arrived at PSG last month in a shocking and unexpected transfer away from FC Barcelona. Messi took a paycut to stay at the only club he has played for in Europe but the club could not register him with the La Liga board leading to his departure.

He has only started one match and completed just one 90 minutes for PSG and Michael Owen thinks he is bad for the way the team plays. In Messi's first match against Reims, he only played 25 minutes and didn't play with both Neymar and Mbappé.

The three attackers started a match together for the first time in the Champions League against Club Brugge, but they only lasted 50minutes after Mbappé was subbed off due to an injury. Owen is already not a fan of the three and said PSG are not favourites for the Champions League.

"As much as we drool over them, this PSG team with those forwards, they're all phenomenal players in their own right, but three together makes it weaker for me and I don't really understand why they're one of the favourites for the Champions League. I think the English teams - Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United - are far, far superior." Owen said on BT Sports.

Messi is yet to have a goal or an assist for PSG. They face a tough Ligue 1 opposition next in Olympique Lyon on Sunday night and Messi will be hoping to register his first goal for the club.
