During the last years it has been discussed who is the best player in soccer history. Many affirm that Diego Maradona, who recently died, deserves that designation, while others think that Lionel Messi should stay with it. However, when talking about passion there are clear differences.
Benfica head coach Jorge Jesús talked about the death of Maradona and said that the legend felt passion for soccer, something that Messi don’t have. His statement generated discussion on social media, as fans started presenting arguments of why that was true or false.
But many of them thought about the same name: Carlos Vela. The Mexican appeared in the story as fans wrote on social media that Messi felt as few passions as Vela for soccer. It is known that the attacker from LAFC doesn’t really love soccer and that he plays for a living.
Messi is still working on his future as, at the age of 33, he may be leaving FC Barcelona after all these years. The options are very clear, being Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea the sides with more chances to sign him. After all, he will first have to announce his departure from Barça.
