Iker Casillas has held a brilliant career playing for over 15 years for Real Madrid, winning the UEFA Champions League in 2000, 2002 and 2014. His life’s pinnacle was without any doubt on July 11, 2010, when Spain conquered the World Cup in South Africa. He conceded just two goals and helped his country to lift the trophy for the first time.

After a 16-year-old spell in Real Madrid since his professional debut in 1999, he moved to Porto in 2015 to play until 2020, when he decided to hang his gloves. In middle of that, he went worldwide famous for kissing his girlfriend, TV reporter Sara Carbonero. But now, he has paid tribute to a legendary TV series. How? By buying a car.

Of course, if we mean a TV series and a car, it will not be just an ordinary car. Many vehicles from the Batmobile, the Pink Panther’s convertible and many others, lots of them have entered history. And now, one of them will enter Iker Casillas’ garage in his home. We will give you a clue: it is black, and it was revolutionary in the 1980s.

Guessed? It is a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, worldwide famous for starring in the legendary Knight Rider TV series from 1982 to 1986, the car is also known as KITT (from 'Knight Industries Two Thousand'). But of course, Casillas’ vehicle does not include voice modulators or secret weapons like the ones David Hasselhoff operated.
