The European football pass market does not stop giving big surprises. Now, the protagonist of it was Manchester United, who announced on their social networks the arrival of neither more nor less than Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese, who had a successful stint for the Red Devils between 2003 and 2009, will begin his second cycle at the club and Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is already beginning to think of a place for him within a team with many figures.
Manchester United played the first two dates of the Premier League with a 4-2-3-1, so, in that scheme, Cristiano Ronaldo could be the only striker. Behind him, Solskjaer could opt for three footballers who have been a fixture and who have hits capable of assisting CR7 millimeter: Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba.
Scott McTominay and Fred have a good chance of being the two holding midfielders to stand in front of a defense that seems clear with Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the right, Luke Shaw on the left and Victor Lindelöf and Harry Maguire as center-backs. The owner of the bow would be the Spanish David de Gea.
