The skull injury that Raul Jimenez suffered in that Premier League match versus Arsenal was a shock for everybody. Fortunately he is recovering, but he will be out for a while and Wolverhampton will need someone else in the striker position while the Mexican star is not there.

After Nuno Espirito Santo analyzed different options, like Divock Origi and Luka Jovic, another one came up. It will be a great signing because he was the best striker in the world some years ago and he knows the style of play of the Premier League, given he played some years for Chelsea.

That striker is Diego Costa, who was the best in his position when he played for Atletico Madrid around 2014. Costa was kicked out from that club some days ago after a fight with Diego Simeone and Luis Suarez, and now he is a free agent. He 32 años, but he is still fit and can shine at a top league.

Nuno has already stated that he is open to any kind of signing in January. He said he is ready to plan the future of Wolverhampton, and the winter transfer window is a good opportunity for that, and that he is able to make decisions about that. And that position is where someone is needed the most.
