He was axed from PSG because of Neymar and Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants him at AC Milan

The new Paris Saint-Germain is already taking form. Thomas Tuchel has left the club after many years and president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has already arranged the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine head coach hasn’t yet been confirmed, but will be arriving to the Parisian side during the next weeks.

Meanwhile, there are some changes coming that are being worked out. The new PSG will be a team formed around Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, as Pochettino thinks this two are the top players that he can’t discard and that will be very useful helping him to gain important titles.

But there are others who are not in the plans and will be axed from the squad. One of them is the German playmaker Julian Draxler. Aged 27, he arrived at PSG on January 2017 for the fortune of $40 million and since then he played 149 matches, scoring 22 goals and giving 33 assists.

Despite the millions spent, PSG thinks that Draxler could never overcome the shadow of Neymar since his arrival and that he has no place in a team with such figures. That is the reason why he will be discarded, being AC Milan the club with more chances to sign him. Italian press assures that Zlatan Ibrahimovic sees with good eyes the possibility of a midfielder of his conditions arriving, as he could help him scoring even more goals.
