A former Los Angeles Galaxy player has been denounced by sexual harrasment by a woman who claimed to be attacked by Cristian Pavon when he was playing for the MLS team, and went back to Argentina after the 2019 season ended. The woman talked publicly about this and claimed to the justice to do something about that.
She went to a local TV show and told the story of what made her fall in depression and be admitted in a hospital. She was a fan of him and met him in a party in Cordoba, Argentina, threw up by his friends near his hometown in November 2019. She said that in that party, a friend of him gave her drugs and unconscious, Pavon attacked her in the bathroom and then left.
The accuser, Marisol Boyle, posted on Instagram a picture of the former Los Angeles Galaxy player and the legend 'God will make justice too'. Also, she said she wants not just a legal punishment. She also wants his current club, Boca Juniors, to sanction him.
Pavon denied the accusations and denounced her on extorsion, but she said she never received the notification of that claim from him, and told she even has a record of a chat with his brother admitting the attack. In Argentina, a felony like that could take up to 20 years of prison.
