Sergio Agüero has made an incredible professional career so far. The Argentinian attacker had achieved almost everything he fought for since his arrival to Manchester City and as well before at Atlético de Madrid. Everything started for him at Independiente, club that formed him and that he left on July 2006 for $22 million to join Atlético de Madrid.
But after so many years Argentina national team has been trying to look for a replacement to Agüero that hasn’t yet arrived. Lautaro Martínez has similar conditions to him but, incredibly, was formed in Racing Club, the historical rival of Independiente, the side that for Agüero, being both from Avellaneda city.
But as well as Kun, there is now a player showing off that may be his successor. He also plays for Independiente and is an attacker with just 18 years old. His name is Alan Velasco, he already uses jersey no. 9 and was born at Quilmes. Since his debut for the Argentinian side, he played 19 games, scoring two goals and giving three assists.

It is said that he will be worth a fortune in the future and Independiente has already signed him a contract that lasts until 2023, with a release clause of $23.5 million. For now, he will be clearly staying at the club, even though it is not crazy to think that a European team could look him in the near future.
