Andrés Iniesta marked an era at FC Barcelona and since he decided to left everything turn hard for the Catalan side. He played there since 1996, when he joined from Albacete former side, until 2018, when he decided to leave to Japan to play his last years in his professional career for Vissel Kobe.

The Spanish midfielder, World Champion with his national team, played a total of 674 matches for Barça, scoring 57 goals and giving 139 assists. After his departure, things were never the same, Lionel Messi started to miss him and the club basted lousy results that forced various changes of head coaches.

After so many years it was said that Barcelona could finally enjoy his new Iniesta, as Riqui Puig started to play for the first team. Specialists compared him due to his dribbling and his skills, assuring that he could be the perfect successor for the Cerebro, as Iniesta was commonly known.

But coaches didn’t deposit much faith on Riqui and after just 19 matches played it is now said that he could be leaving Barcelona. AC Milan are one of the many interested clubs on signing him, and they could offer up to $15 million for him, a fortune considering the crisis that Barcelona is facing. Leeds United or Porto are other options for this talented midfielder if he finally leaves.
