The MLS is always looking for talent at the South American leagues that may arrive to help their league make a quality jump. Argentina is a country in which they founded many players with great conditions and a nation that has young skilled ones and old experienced as well.

During the last hours it has been rumored that the new signing from an MLS side will be Mauro Zárate, the attacker that plays in Boca Juniors who have been accused from an historical betrayal to his family a couple of years ago. As he is not having as many minutes as he wants to in the team, he is thinking on a move soon.

The treason from Zárate occurred after he said that he was going to stay all his life in his former club Vélez Sársfield, after he went back to the country on January 2018. But six months later he decided to move to Boca, no mattering the words he expressed before and despite the link of his family with his previous side.

Zárate is 33 years old and has a contract remaining until June 2021. As head coach Miguel Ángel Russo doesn’t use him much, due to the great level of Carlos Tevez, who plays in the same position, it is said that he will move to the MLS. Until now, it wasn’t revealed which club from the U.S. league intends to sign him.
