If you look at the Guinness World Records in soccer, most of them will belong to Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese now counts one less from the list after what happened during the last week. It was studied and analysed, and now it’s concluded and confirmed.
According to the reports, this happened last Thursday, in the match played by Motherwell and Ross County, for the Scottish Premiership. Motherwell won 1-0 with the goal scored by center back Bevis Mugabi, heading the ball into the net.

What is so astonishing? Mugabi jumped 2m62cm in the air, or 8 ft 7 in. That was the highest jump ever in soccer history. This has beaten Ronaldo’s mark by 6 cm, or 2.3 inches. The club announced it in its Twitter account. It's just two or three inches below the crossbar's level in professional dimensions.
25-year-old Mugabi was born in England, but too the Ugandan nationality from his parents and joined the national team. He has played 10 games, including the 2019 African Nations Cup with the red, black and yellow shirt.
