England and Tottenham striker Harry Kane needs a goal tonight to match former England striker Wayne Rooney's record of most competitive goals scored for England. Rooney scored 37 competitive goals for England in 74 games and Harry will beat that in lesser games with 54 games.

Harry Kane is yet to score a Premier League goal for Tottenham this season and has struggled to replicate his goalscorer form that made him one of the deadliest goal poachers in the world. His only goals for Tottenham this season have come in UEFA's new competition, the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Manchester City were on the heels of Harry Kane to sign him during the summer transfer window but Tottenham rejected multiple bids from the Citizens forcing the striker to stay at the club despite refusing to resume training early for pre-season.

The psychological effects of disagreement over his transfer and claiming Tottenham owner Daniel Levy promised to allow him leave in a gentleman's agreement certainly tells on the 28 year old. He looks a different person when playing for England.
