Pep Guardiola is turning 50 this January 18 and clubs from all over the world decided to salute him. On their social media, FC Barcelona posted a message congratulating the Catalan head coach for a new anniversary. Many fans from the world replied, asking the club to sign him once again, even though that is a very hard thing to ask.

Actually, Barça is under Ronald Koeman’s mandate, despite his contract ends in a couple of months more. Since some years ago, the club doesn’t find the ideal manager and is changing it after a couple of months and some failures. Despite it is not the most recommended thing to swap trainers so often, Barcelona fans are asking the same with Koeman now.

But moving Guardiola from Manchester City is almost an impossible mission nowadays. The coach has arrived to the Premier League side on July 2016 and has signed a new contract recently, that remains until June 2023. It is his third professional experience as a coach, after Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Guardiola has even a release clause on his contract with Manchester City, even though it was never revealed about how much money it is. Until now, he managed the team during 261 matches, with 193 victories obtained, 31 ties and 37 defeats. With $27.5 million gained per season, he is the second-best paid trainer in the world and Barça would need a fortune to take him from that situation.
