Dani Alves is at the of an incredible career, that has him as the most champions' player ever with 39 titles. The Brazilian is currently playing at Sao Paulo Brazilian side at the age of 37 but spent the majority of his career in some of the best clubs on the world, such as FC Barcelona, Juventus or Paris-Saint Germain.

After two years of leaving Juventus, Dani Alves criticized Josep Guardiola saying that he had arranged with the Catalan head coach that when he left the Italian side, he was going to join Manchester City, but then he denied him that possibility. For Alves, Guardiola was a rancorous, as he said to the press recently.

Guardiola was coaching at Manchester City in the exact moment that Dani Alves ended his contract with Juventus and stayed as a free agent. Finally, he decided to join PSG, club that he left on August 2019, once again for free. Facing the last years of his career, he decided to go to Sao Paulo, where he signed a contract until December 2022.

Dani Alves and Guardiola seem to have an excellent relationship formed at Barcelona. The coach created there one of the best teams in modern soccer and the defender was a key part of the squad. After all, things didn’t end that well at Barcelona and Guardiola denied Alves to reunite with him at Manchester City.
