Gonzalo Martínez will leave Atlanta United Football Club. The millionaire price they will pay from Saudi Arabia

Gonzalo Pity Martinez became one of the greatest names in River Plate's history as he scored the last goal in the Superclásico's final in the 2018 Copa Libertadores. That led him to a big purchase from Atlanta United, which at that time was former MLS Cup winners. After one year adaptation, an Arabian club has showed its interest in recruiting him.

Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia put $18 million bid on the table for Pity Martinez, according to Cesar Merlo and TyC Sports. Both Atlanta United and the Argentine are reportedly evaluating the proposal. It's a huge offer for someone who was boughten in a $15 million transfer fee more than an year ago.

The 27-years-old midfielder has won one title with Atlanta United: the US Open Cup. After an irregular 2019, he has started the 2020 season with good numbers. He played several matches including MLS is Back Tournament, MLS Regular Season and Concacaf Champions and he scored four goals and made three assists.
