The latest statements by Gonzalo Higuaín have given much to talk about in MLS and around the world.

The Los Angeles Galaxy have been linked with Gonzalo Higuaín in the transfer market for several weeks. Hours ago, thanks to statements by the Argentine striker's father, many considered that he intends to remain in Europe. However, the latest comments from the Argentine forward have changed the whole picture.

Gonzalo Higuaín declared that he has offers from MLS, just as he considers the competition a real possibility for his future. However, the player affirmed that he has a contract with Juventus and will respect the Italian team's union. Based on this declaration, the doors for Los Angeles Galaxy and Inter Miami CF open with two different scenarios.

Los Angeles Galaxy, due to lack of funds, could resort to the loan option, benefiting Juventus when saving a salary, and after a year, with his contract terminated at Juventus, hiring the player without any link to another club.

On the Inter Miami CF side, Gonzalo Higuaín fits perfectly with the star signing and goalscorer style they need. The team could bear the transfer cost, a sale that would favor Juventus, and offer a better salary than the Los Angeles Galaxy to the Argentine forward.

With these statements, several clubs will be on the lookout for Gonzalo Higuaín. The clubs that seem to have an advantage are the Los Angeles Galaxy, with the forward's compatriot as a coach, Guillermo Barros Schelotto, and Inter Miami CF, with a recent teammate Argentine striker, Blaise Matuidi. In the following weeks, the future of Gonzalo Higuaín is expected to be defined.
