At 18 years old, Giovanni Reyna has already established himself as one of the best young prospects in the world. The USMNT midfielder and Claudio Reyna’s son played the full 90 minutes today and scored his second goal in Bundesliga, saving his team Borussia Dortmund of a defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt.

When his team was 1-0 down, Reyna elaborated a high quality move to score the equalizer at the first minutes of the second half.  The young player, who chose to represent USMNT over England, Argentina and Portugal, tricked a defender with a cut inside and then shot high and fast to the top corner scored his second goal in Bundesliga and third of the season.

Reyna is one of the most exciting players to watch in USMNT, and he is hoped to perform next year in CONCACAF Golden Cup and World Cup Qualifiers. He will not be in USMNT next match versus El Salvador, because players who are in Europe would have to go through quarantine.

Along with Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie –scored today for Juventus-, Sergiño Dest and others, Reyna is also part of the new golden generation of the national team that wants to make America proud of its soccer and show the entire world the results of years and years of development.
