It’s been a quite happy birthday for Cristiano Ronaldo scoring for Juventus in their 2-0 win over AS Roma in Turin for Serie A’s round 21. The Portuguese has turned 36 years old on Friday and celebrated by scoring on Saturday. But of course, that was not all. He spent his day surrounded by his family.

In the middle of the celebration, he sent a message expressing his gratitude to everybody ‘from Madeira to Lisbon, from Lisbon to Manchester, from Manchester to Madrid and from Madrid to Turin’, stating that everybody is in his heart. He said he always gave his very best and only received love and support in exchange.

Despite having turned 36, an age in which most of soccer players tend to decrease their levels, the Portuguese master is showing an extraordinary form with 22 goals in 23 games across all competitions he is involved in with Juventus. He said he can’t promise another 20 years as a professional but promises to give 100% of him.

On Instagram, he posted a picture of his family on the table having a big cake painted like the Portuguese flag, with green and red, including the national shield. He was surrounded by his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez, his sons Cristiano Junior and Mateo and his daughters, Alana Martina and Eva.
