Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo built a career out of consistency and ability to stay fit, and with those two nearing the end of their careers. Erling Haaland is one of the young footballers who are expected to lead the next generation as global superstars due to their obvious talents from their youth.

Erling Haaland today was announced by Borussia Dortmund that he has suffered a hip flexor injury that will keep him out of action for a period of time, and the striker himself announced on his social media page that all on his mind now is to focus on his recovery.

He is the most sought after striker in the world right now with many European clubs ready to go to war for his signature and with his recent injury which happens just after two weeks of another injury that kept him out of the last international break, the club might rethink their position on him even with his obvious talent.

His release clause of £68m will become active at the end of the season and it all but confirmed he will be on the move in the summer, even though Chelsea tested Borussia Dortmund's resolve last summer with £130m which was rejected. Chelsea instead signed Romelu Lukaku who was also injured in the last match.
