In the next transfer market, the "difficult figure" to come by is Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker shines in Borussia Dortmund and at just 20 years old he became one of the most coveted players in the world. In the last hours it was known that Manchester City offered him a weekly salary of 700,000 euros. However, the offer does not seem to please him since this Thursday his father and his representative were seen in Barcelona, where they will hold a meeting with Joan Laporta.

Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola, and his father Alf Inge Haaland, arrived early on a private flight to Barcelona's El Prat airport and were greeted by the driver of Catalan club president Joan Laporta, local newspaper Mundo Deportivo revealed. The Borussia Dortmund striker is the Catalans' great goal and therefore the visit of his father and his agent to Barcelona "is a real bomb," the Spanish media say.

"The news's a bomb but it's much more so because when they arrived at El Prat airport they were picked up by a car driven by the usual driver and security employee of the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta", Mundo Deportivo said.

Clubs looking for Erling Haaland

Haaland is a star figure in Europe and his pass is claimed by several "big" clubs including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain (PSG). In that sense, Manchester City yesterday revealed a millionaire proposal of more than 180 million euros to hire the player for five seasons. However, the arrival of the representative and Haaland's father to Barcelona to meet with the Catalan club's leadership opens another instance in the footballer's future.

Rumors that Haaland could play in Spain next season were increased when the acquisition of a house in southern Marbella by the family of the young Norwegian player became known.
