Discover the "new Paul Pogba" for whom Juventus and Barcelona are fighting

Barcelona and Juventus will not only confront in tomorrow's Champions League game, but both clubs want the same player in the next transfer window of the European winter. It's Ryan Gravenberch, the young 18-year-old midfielder who plays for Ajax Amsterdam and had a top performance in the historic 13-0 win over VVV-Venlo last weekend.

Ryan Gravenberch is a midfielder who made his first steps at Jong Ajax and from that moment he is compared to French star Paul Pogba not only for his game but also for his physical appearance. The young player weighs 167 pounds and his height is 6 ′ 3 ″, just the same height as the Manchester United midfielder.

In the 2018/19 season, Gravenberch went from Jong Ajax to the first team making his debut on 23 September 2018 in an Eredivisie match against PSV Eindhoven, after replacing David Neres in the 83rd minute. Since his debut he has played 14 matches in the first team and has scored 4 goals.

The young Dutchman is valued between 20 and 25 million euros, the same price that Barcelona paid to Ajax for Sergiño Dest. Juventus and Barcelona have recently negotiated with the Dutch club for other players: the culé side incorporated Dest and Frankie De Jong, while Juventus seized the services of Matthijs De Ligt, whose agent is Mino Raiola, the same as Gravenberch.
