There have been very few brothers who have played for Club America at the same time throughout its history. Apparently, there is a possibility that the Lainez brothers may share the dressing room of the most famous team in Mexico, in the not too distant future. According to the Lainez father, it would be a great dream to see both players wear the Club America jersey in the short term, as both players already did it when they were in the basic forces, that was when Mauro was 15 years old and Diego 11.

Other brothers who shared America's dressing room at the same time were Armando and Agustín Manzo, Juan Carlos and José de Jesús Mosqueda, Ramón and Nicolás Ramírez, Ángel and Marco Reyna, Rafael and Francisco Garza Gutiérrez.

Although the Club America footballer tested positive for Covid-19, his illusion of succeeding in the team is intact and can be demonstrated, as Mauro scored the team's first goal in the current season against San Luis.

Finally, it is likely that it will not be long to see the Lainez brothers as Diego, who is current Real Betis player, said that as soon as he has no place in Europe he will return to play along with his brother.
