Diego Lainez is one of the Mexican talents in whom a lot of confidence is deposited. The attacker is only 20 years old and plays for Real Betis. Since a very young age, he has shown huge talent while playing for Club América, and made his professional debut on 2017. Just two years later, he moved to the Spanish side for $15 million.

Diego Lainez went through different moments at Real Betis. At first, he didn’t have many chances as he wanted to, but now, after two years of his arrival, he's doing better. The forward has received more chances and played the last six games of his team in La Liga, in which he entered two from the bench and started four.

The reported value of Diego Lainez has recently increased, according to specialized website Transfermarkt. A year ago, he was valuated at just $5 million and now his value increased to $7.5 million, after the last update was made. With a contract due to June 2024, Real Betis have a jewel in their squad that could make them earn a lot of money in the future.

In total, Diego Lainez has played 48 matches since his arrival to Real Betis, despite that he entered most of those games from the bench. Since then, he scored two goals and gave five assists. As he's still too young, it is expected that his value continue to rise, even though he will need more opportunities to play and prove his worth.

Hope for Mexico national team

Diego Lainez made his debut with the national team on September 2018. The wonder kid has been playing for all the Mexican's youth teams and with Ricardo Ferretti he had the chance to make his official debut. Since then, he has played five matches in which he scored no goals. During 2020 he was considered by Gerardo Martino and call-up for the last international break of the year.
