According to Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini, Spaniard team Real Betis is to comply with the rules in what refers to the possibility of Diego Láinez playing with the Mexican National Team in the Pre-Olympic tournament set to be disputed in Jalisco, Guadalajara. So now, the final decision is up to the former América's talent.

"There are rules to be followed by the two parts and Real Betis is a club that has always followed them", stated the coach of the team from Seville. Then, he added: "We will follow every single rule as the Federation demand. There're some fixtures to play and we won't give any advantage".

The South American coach also mentioned that "his team is not thinking about european competitions or the Derby against Sevilla, but only about playing a good game against Deportivo Alavés", rival that Betis will receive next Monday at the Benito Villamarín Stadium in the province of Andalucía.

Now it's up to Láinez to choose between staying with the club or travelling to Mexico, whose activity starts March 18th against Dominican Republic. Therefore, the final date for the National Team to submit the squad is March 11th. If Diego decides to go to Jalisco, it would have to be after the Derby against Sevilla -on March 14th- and he'll miss the following game against Levante.
