The Mexicans Diego Lainez and Andrés Guardado will have a salary reduction with Betis of Spain due to the financial crisis that the team is going through due to the Covid-19 pandemic and that has caused the flow of money in the clubs to be less than expected. According to what El Desmarque publishes, the Betic team agreed with the squad a new salary reduction, this after having suffered a first cut during the quarantine that was lived a few months ago and in the time that the players were at home.

The Verdiblanco team has stopped receiving about 21 million dollars in ordinary income and among the most important was the sale of tickets to the Benito Villamarín Stadium. "The Heliopolitan entity will be able to save a very important amount in salaries to meet the budget, touched after losing more than 20 million euros of ordinary income, especially due to the absence of public in the stadiums",says the media.

The players who will have to find a solution to this issue are those who end their contract in the next European summer, since the elements with a longer contract will be able to recover part of the money in installment payments, reassignments and future renewals.

In the same way, the media pointed out that the footballers preferred to be the "sacrifices" in the face of the crisis that the club is experiencing and all with the aim that the employees of the team and the administrative part don't suffer a cut in personnel.
