Since Alphnso Davies' situation and his condition became known, many people have wondered whether it was the anti-COVID-19 vaccine that caused the player's myocarditis

And this question has been on the rise in recent days with the news that the player was diagnosed with myocarditis after having overcome the coronavirus, so the questions about it have increased.

And the fact is that the player, having been diagnosed with this disease, will have to take care of his health more than ever because for the moment he has been ruled out by Bayern Munich for an indefinite period of time.

And not only that, now it is known that the player will also be out of the Canadian national soccer team due to this same illness, which comes just when his country will have to play its last matches of the World Cup qualifiers

It seems that the road to Qatar 2022 is over for this young athlete.

Can the COVID-19 vaccine cause myocarditis?

The answer to this question is complicated because although there is evidence that there may be a link between messenger RNA COVID vaccines and the possibility of heart inflammation such as myocarditis, the evidence has been inconclusive

It would therefore be difficult to make such a claim, especially when the virus has only been in circulation for a very short time and very little scientific knowledge has been developed about it.

What is known for sure is that so far, the anti-COVID-19 vaccines are the best option to protect against the virus, along with other precautions such as the use of antibacterial gel and masks in public places.

So far, thousands of lives have been saved thanks to vaccines, so it is best to follow the instructions of health institutions in this regard.

How will Alphonso Davies deal with this situation?

The player will have to undergo further studies to know the extent of his illness, but for the time being his early retirement from the courts seems almost a fact.

For example, the Canadian national team has already provided information on the matter and has indicated that the player is definitely out for the next World Cup qualifiers

Through a statement, the Canadian national team said:

"Alphonso Davies will miss the upcoming 2022 FIFA winter international window for a trio of matches in the final round of CONCACAF FIFA World Cup Qualifiers."

On Bayern's side the situation is similar and the team's coach also released a statement to inform the team's supporters that Davies is out of the team as he has to heal completely.

Julian Nagelsmann's statement read as follows: "In the examination we do on every player who has gone through a Coronavirus infection we have detected a slight inflammation of the myocardium. He will not be available for the next few weeks because the inflammation has to heal completely."

Therefore, what remains for the player is to take care of himself and wait until he recovers from the disease to see if he will be able to continue with his career as a soccer player.
