According to Fabrizio Romano, the signing of Romelu Lukaku by Chelsea is closed. After a first offer valued at 100 million euros, which was rejected by Inter Milan, the London team would have made a new offer. As reported by the Italian journalist, the agreement would close at about 115 million euros.

In the first proposal made by Chelsea, Marcos Alonso was included in the operation. However, it seems that finally the agreement will be closed for 115 million euros and without players as a bargaining chip. Romelu Lukaku arrived at Inter Milan in 2019, for an amount close to 75 million euros. In these two years at Inter, Lukaku has become the cornerstone of the project.

Thanks to the Belgian striker, a club that had been in decline for years has once again lifted the Italian league title, which it had not won since 2010, more than a decade ago. Romelu Lukaku will be able to boast of being one of the main protagonists of ending the hegemony of Juventus in the league championships in recent years. He leaves Inter Milan after defending the Italian club's elastic 95 times, having scored 64 goals in all competitions in just two seasons.

He returns to Chelsea, the club to which he belonged from 2011 to 2014. However, he only defended the elastic 'blue' in 15 games, without scoring a goal. In those three years, Lukaku left on loan to West Bromwich Albion and Everton, the latter being the one who signed him to Chelsea for an amount close to 35 million euros. Therefore, Lukaku returns to demonstrate in London what he did not know how to do a few years ago. The Belgian forward will earn 12 million net per season. Totally closed personal agreements with Chelsea.

As we have already told in signings.net, Inter Milan already have Lukaku's replacement when he leaves the entity. It is about Kun Agüero. After the departure of Messi, the Argentine striker would have been angry with the Blaugrana club and would not see with bad eyes leaving FC Barcelona.
