David Beckham retired after enjoying a very successful football career with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and MLS club LA Galaxy. The England international is the most successful player to come out of England and he has a lot of trophies to show for it. 

He retired to a very stable financial life, even before his retirement David Beckham was said to have made $800 million while actively playing but was not the richest athlete as of the time of his retirement, he was ranked 7th. 

David Beckham is said to be worth more than half a Billion Dollars ($500m). His wealth comes from Sponsorship deals, endorsements and his personal Company the DB limited. He has gone on to make more money since his retirement with deals and partnerships. He's said to bank in almost $70,000 a day. 

He ventured into the football management business when he became the President of Soccer Operations and main Owner of Inter Miami FC in the MLS. Last month he signed a deal to become the face of the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar, a deal that's worth $150 million. His wife Victoria contributes to his fortune with her fashion design line that is under the David Beckham Company. The DB limited sees to his image right and brand.
