David Alaba is one of the most chased soccer players for the upcoming transfer market. The 28-year-old center and left back is ending his spell in FC Bayern as he has recently confirmed. But now, the big question is where he will end up. He still has a long way ahead in his career and his versatility turn him into a very desirable player.
It happens that Alaba, as many other soccer stars in the world, has his contract with his club expiring at the end of the season, and is already available as a free agent. The same happens with Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi, and Sergio Agüero, just to mention a few names. Therefore, his future remains to be decided.
Speaking to media in a press conference, Alaba stated he has taken a difficult decision on leaving Bayern after a long spell, but he wants to look for new challenges. His 13 years in the club were extraordinary and he has assured he always felt like home. He considers playing six or seven more years, he confessed.
Of course, our next step is to try to guess where he will end up. Laughing, he explained he has learnt some Spanish from the many speakers he played with in Bayern. Almost all of them were from Spain… and so is Real Madrid. He recognized his skills on the language are not so strong, but good enough to speak in the field… anything else to add?
