The 2021/22 UEFA Champions League season will kick off tomorrow with matches across different stadiums in Europe. Manchester United will travel to Switzerland to face Young Boys where Cristiano Ronaldo will make his second Champions League debut for the club.

Ronaldo, who returned to the club after 12 years away, returned to the club after three seasons at Juventus and scored twice in a 4-1 win over Newcastle United on his second Premier League debut on Saturday.

Ronaldo is a five time Champions League winner having won one with Manchester United in 2008, a final in which he scored and also four titles with Real Madrid in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 to make him the player with most medals in the competition.

He is also the Champions League highest goalscorer with 134 goals in 176 games. In his first spell with the Red Devils, he scored 15 goals in 52 games and had a chance to improve on the tally when he kicks the ball again in the competition.
