Cristiano Ronaldo left the Old Trafford pitch disappointed and headed straight to the tunnel after the 1-1 draw against Everton at the weekend, but the mood of the Portuguese was lifted backstage by his buddy and MMA superstar Khabib who was at Old Trafford to see the match.

Ronaldo was seen locking heads with Khabib as if the two wanted to fight like it's done in the UFC, the two bursted into laughter and hugged. After which they stood there to exchange some conversation. Khabib was also seen talking to Sir Alex Ferguson asking if it's okay Ronaldo didn't start the match.

The UFC superstar was also spotted with other members of the Red Devils squad including Paul Pogba and former player Rio Ferdinand, who all put their disappointment of the match aside and enjoyed a good time with a friend. Khabib shared the videos and images from the scene on his Instagram account.

Club football is currently on hold for the international break. Ronaldo will be representing his country Portugal. He has played 180 games and scored 111 goals for his country, he is the highest goalscorer for any country surpassing the record of Iranian legend Ali Daei who has 109 goals.
