Cristiano Ronaldo has written soccer history after scoring two goals for Juventus against Udinese on Serie A Week 15. The second goal of the Portuguese was the number 758 in his professional career as a soccer player, which means that he has now reached an all-time record.
Pele had 757 goals until now and was the second player in history to score the biggest number. Now, CR7 has overcome his record. The top leader of the list, that is very near to reached, is the historical striker Josef Bican (with 759 goals). Ronaldo will now go and try to catch his mark.
All of these goals scored are just the official ones counted, as it is said that Pele has more than 1000 but such a thing has not been proved. Cristiano’s record counts with all his goals recorded by videos, as they were made in this era in which soccer is televised, and they can have a register of this type of conquers.
Lionel Messi envies this record that Cristiano reached, as the Argentine has scored 715 so far and is still far away from the mark of his rival. Playing for clubs, the Portuguese scored 655, between Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, while the others 102 were scored for Portugal national team.
