Cristiano Ronaldo knocked out a steward with a missed shot during warm-up

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo knocked out a steward with a shot into the stands during the warm up ahead of the first group game of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League.

The Portuguese international then showed a kind gesture by jumping over the barrier to go and check up on him while he was being attended to by the medical team of Manchester United.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the match though it was not enough for Manchester United to avoid defeat as a Aaron Wan-Bissaka red card and a late winner from American soccer player Theoson Siebatcheu condemned the Red Devils to a 2-1 defeat.
