One of the greatest players in the history of world football for all the records he managed to break and set, Cristiano Ronaldo, managed to go down in history again and get among the best athletes in the world. The sports part is evident, but the economic part is a differential that makes him much better than his arch-rival, Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo has not only achieved everything he set out to do in sports, outside the courts he is an expert in making money. He has multiple businesses including his hotel, a museum, a clothing brand, perfume brand, he is a shareholder in some brands and also charges thousands of dollars to lend his face for different types of brands.

On one hand, we have Cristiano Ronaldo, an expert on making money. On the other hand, we have Lionel Messi, who has a much lower profile, although he also participates in several commercials, it is more because the brands seek him than on the FC Barcelona star's own initiative, the Argentine prefers to win everything alone on the field.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently became the third athlete in history to sign a lifetime contract with one of the most famous sports brands in the world, Nike, something that only Michael Jordan and Lebron James, two of the greatest legends of the United States managed to do.

Neither Lionel Messi nor Michael Phelps, who are considered the best in each of their sports, managed to have a lifetime contract for a billion dollars, that luxury is only allowed by players who take advantage of and fully exploit their image so as not to have to worry about money ever again.
