Cristiano Ronaldo returned to his football home of Manchester United in the summer and he immediately installed himself as the natural leader of the Manchester United dressing room despite not being the captain. He has been a leader on and off the pitch for his mates and many are not shy about saying it to the media.

A report circulated in the media weeks ago that Manchester United players avoided junk and were scared to touch it because Ronaldo was not having it. Ronaldo has maintained proper fitness and top level consistency throughout his career due to his strict diet and sticking to his fitness routines.

Luke Shaw is the latest member of the Manchester United squad to open up on the impact the 36year old has made at the club. "You know the star he is, what he has been doing over a number of years, it is just unbelievable to be in a dressing room with him," Shaw told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"You see the way he conducts himself, how professional he is. It's clear to me why he has been at the top for so many years. His mentality is second to none. I think he has really improved that in and around the changing room." Ronaldo has scored five goals in all competitions since returning to the club.
