It's the first transfer window since both men began their illustrious soccer careers that they will both switch clubs together. Lionel Messi's departure at Barcelona after 21 years made that possible despite the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has switched club four times and is currently improving the numbers for Manchester United.

A big difference exists and suggests Ronaldo will make more if Manchester United win the Premier League than Messi will make from winning Ligue 1.
