It is always interesting when a legend meets another legend. This time, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gennady Golovkin featured together for a DAZN documentary called Parallel Worlds: Ronaldo x GGG. The Portuguese is a fan of contact sports, and is a follower of boxing and wrestling.

Together, they conversated about their poor upbringings and the boxing world, with Golovkin even teaching CR7 some moves in the ring and with a punching bag. Then, they had a conversation about a 2019 fight, where the American Andy Ruiz Jr. lost to Anthony Joshua.

Ronaldo said that Joshua is one of the best, but Ruiz is good too, and pointed out that he had talked about the fight before and his friends mocked Ruiz because of his body, calling him fat. Actually, CR7 defended the former champion of WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles, lost in that fight.

Lastly, Golovkin told Ronaldo that, like soccer or any other sport, the mentality is key. A bad mindset could ruin everything, no matter how fit they are or how much technique they have. They are both known by their strong mentalities and big desires of winning all the time, and that made them legends of their respective sports.
