Cristiano Ronaldo almost scored the best goal of the year (VIDEO)

Cristiano Ronaldo is reputable for scoring spectacular goals all through his career, overhead kicks, long range shots, freekicks and power headers, he has scored them all in his career. He attempted an audacious bicycle kick in the match against Luxembourg.

The score was 3-0 and Ronaldo had already gotten two goals. He wanted to score his hat-trick in a very spectacular version but the goalkeeper denied him, he eventually got his hat-trick but it was not as spectacular as the bicycle kick he earlier attempted but was not scored.

He continued his ascension as the best goalscorer in international football, moving his tally to 115 goals in 182 games, both are records and he is far ahead of others and would take time before it will be matched or broken.

Portugal have four more group games and will need all maximum points from their final group games to ensure a direct qualification to the World Cup and avoid European playoffs. See the video of the goal below;
