Real Betis has been signing some players from Club America during the last years. Diego Lainez, formed in the Liga MX side, has been one of the most emblematic cases of the last campaign. He left on January 2019 for $15 million, after playing 51 games and scoring five goals with America.

Betis is now back in negotiations with the Mexican side, trying to complete another signing. The player who they are looking forward to incorporate is the right defender Jorge Sánchez. With 23 years old, he has joined from Santos Laguna almost three years ago and played 91 games since then.

Lainez has recommended the signing of Sánchez and there he could also reunite with the Argentine Guido Rodríguez, who also passed through America. Manuel Pellegrino is really happy with the performances of those players arriving from the Mexican league and think that they can adapt well to the Spanish soccer.

Betis has just defeated SD Huesca in their last game, in their third consecutive match without a defeat. They are now in the 10th position on LaLiga, competition in which they have earned 23 points after 18 matches played. As Pellegrino needs a right defender, the options of signing Sánchez are now really high in his consideration.
