Chelsea’s debut in the Champions League was against the hardest rivals of the group, Europa League Champions Sevilla. Frank Lampard’s team draws without goals and the team did not show better performance. Was it a right decision to put so much pressure on Pulisic?

Christian did not take any single shot the entire match until he was replaced. Kai Havertz and Timo Werner created more opportunities that the number 10. This can be seen as a really good work by Sevilla’s defense, but this is probably what would happen if Chelsea make it to the round of 16.

Lampard decided to set Pulisic as a right winger in the first half and when he saw that the player had almost no chances, he sends Christian to the left side of the pitch. When Hakim Ziyech appeared, all the attack options at Chelsea sent to the opposite side and Pulisic did not see the ball.

This is not the first time that Pulisic has a bad performance in a Champions League match. At International Level, if we include the UCL and the Europa League in Dortmund and Chelsea, he played 33 matches and scored only 3 goals, so that made the fans think, is he a world class player?
