It took 10 Premier League games to see American striker Christian Pulisic as a starter at Chelsea. He did it by playing 69 minutes in equal goalless away against Leeds United, a team coached by Argentine Marcelo Bielsa, in what was the start of matchday 28 of the British competition. In his return to play in the local league from the opening whistle, taking into account that he has played all the Blues games in the FA Cup, the Wonder Boy was used as the only forward in the scheme of the German coach Thomas Tuchel, who after the meeting made it very clear what his future will be in the institution.

"Christian Pulisic's in my plans. He is an important player and he has the potential to be decisive for us from the bench and as a first baseman", said the Chelsea strategist. In that sense, Tuchel was emphatic in clarifying that no player on his team has assured his place in the 11th starter, including the American, indicating that he must show that he is ready when required, and that his time will be earlier than later.

"Is it necessary for him to be able to prove it? Yes. So, this's my job and his job is to be ready like everyone else and when the time comes, you have to be ready. For that you join a club. There's no difference between Christian and everyone else (…) maybe he will be the captain next year, I don't know",said the Chelsea coach.

Several European clubs want to sign Christian Pulisic

According to what the Daily Mail published throughout the week, there are three teams that would be interested in signing: Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool. These last two have a complicated outlook because Chelsea would be reinforcing two direct league rivals. Bayern Munich's option does not seem far-fetched, he knows the country well and the loss of Leroy Sane has caused Hansi Flick to look for someone who can fight for the position with him.
